Second round of advertising soon to be released: ‘Best Practices in Testing and Tagging to AS/NZS 3760’

It is our great pleasure to offer your organisation an exciting, unique opportunity of marketing your products and/or services within our Manual.

Typical advertising regimes around the world offer advertising space within mediums such as telephone books, newspapers, and trade magazines etc. Your clients may not always remember to source products or services from such mediums, and the majority of these circulations have a very limited life span. More so, we are aware that some organisations pay premium prices for advertising in periodical electrical circulations to the electrical trade on a regular basis, this can be frustrating when readers of such circulations quickly flick through the publication, read articles of interest to them and then discard the publication to make room for the next magazine - seeing your premium investment subsidise the recycling industry.

Investment in advertising in the Manual with your products or services will maximise the chances that every reader will not only view or read your promotion, but most readers will keep the Manual by their side, in their tool kit, or on their shelf for many years to come. The Testing and Tagging industry is growing fast with more awareness continually created; and with an estimated 1.8 million workplaces throughout Australia it is a Manual that all industry participants should have to ensure Best Practices in workplace safety in relation to electrical equipment. This includes people such as electricians, competent persons, employers, business owners, TAFE courses and students, and any person wishing to obtain an informed decision on Testing and Tagging.

The unique feature of your investment includes the facility of referencing toward your advertisment on a regular basis within the Manual whenever products or services you provide are mentioned. The readers are referred to the appropriate Appendix to view your promotion! This feature completes your investment in real time, as many readers of the Manual will be in the market for products and services of your offering. Our own industry experience has shown that a great number of people are not aware of where to find products or services relating to testing and tagging. Have you ever tried to look for a testing and tagging service advertisement in general advertising mediums? Your advertising investment will also be posted on the 'Advertising' page within the 'Live Adverts' flyout within the category of your purchase.

This Manual is a Best Practice educational Manual. Its owners and members will refer to it many times during their experience within the industry – making your investment work by their side. Check out the subject material within the Manual on our contents page then consider the following information package for your advertising requirements.

We are seeking advertisements and promotions for the following category types:

Distributors wholesalers and manufacturers of Test and or Electrical Equipment: Our own industry experience has shown that a great number of people are not aware of where to find products relating to testing and tagging and Safety Apparel.

Service Providers of appliance and RCD Testing: Our own industry experience has shown that a great number of people who are at first interested in taking on the task of testing and tagging themselves, soon realise they should leave it to the people in the industry, after learning of the in-depth nature this Manual is written to.

Training Providers: Our own industry experience has shown that a great number of people are unaware of where to obtain such training within this field, let-alone know such a course is available.

Electricians: Not all competent persons are licensed to perform all facets of RCD testing relating to fixed switchboard type. The Manual also promotes in great depth the recommendation to – at the customer’s installation – the upgrading of Semi Enclosed Rewireable Fuse electrical switchboards.

Safety and Wiring Inspection Personnel: The Manual expresses the recommendation for consumers to consider a Home Safety Wiring Inspection. Also, if you are a Licensed Electrical Inspector, A large quantity of readers and members to the Manual will be Electricians.

Hire/Rental of Test Equipment: You may need to be called upon, should a service provider be without their PAT while theirs is in for a service, or it may be more viable for an in-house employee with a small quantity of items to test, to hire rather than buy.

Instrument Calibrations: Our own industry experience has shown that a great number of service providers and in-house participants are unaware of the requirements to have all test equipment calibrated on a regular basis.

Insurance Providers: Our own industry experience has shown that a great number of service providers and in-house participants are unaware of their insurance obligations required for protection within Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.

Authorised Appliance Repair Specialists: Our own industry experience has shown that a great number of service providers and in-house participants are unaware of their obligations to legislative requirements and policies pertaining to Appliance Repairs, and have difficulty in locating such service providers.
